This is a great practice to do anytime, however particularly lovely as a gentle morning practice to open up through the body and set the tone for the day. I hope you enjoy this practice xox p
Somatic yoga is a combination of the lineage of somatics and yoga. Somatic movement aim to retrain habitual patterns of tension held in the body that have become ingrained in your nervous system. Gentle movement sequences support you to deepen the connection between the brain and body, settle the nervous system, opening up the space to allow for release of tension and creating new movement possibilities.
