What started as recurring illnesses and persistent infections led to a life-changing diagnosis. 💙 What is B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL)?
• B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) happens when bone marrow produces too many abnormal B-lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell that helps the body fight infection.
• Once fatal, now treatable with chemotherapy, radiation therapy, stem cell transplant and targeted therapies.
• Requires chemotherapy and long-term care for remission.
