At 12:00:01, the City of Oklahoma City conducted a weekly test of their outdoor warning siren system on Saturday, February 21, 2026. This test consisted of a 3 minute alert.
So, around the 9th, I drove by and there was nothing here to replace the siren that got hit by a truck in March of last year. But after Bethany last week, we drove by again, and saw this was here, so we knew we had to record this, so today was the day. It was pretty windy, so excuse the shake. This siren was decently loud, and during the test, Mustang's 2001-130s were audible. Then after, 3 of Tuttle's T-128s and a multitude of other Vortexes and WPS's were heard. Overall, this was a pretty cool and successful test.
This siren can be found on 12134 SW 104th Street. This unit, along with 183 others, are tested every Saturday at 12:00 noon. The test may be canceled for precipitation widespread across the city or severe weather expected for that day.
