At 11:53:25, the City of Duncan began a pre-test voice cycle for the electronic sirens. then at 12:00:09, the test voice cycle played through, and the Banshee activated shortly after. Then finally the 2001s and the Modulators activated at 12:05:02 for alert and attack.

For a bit of context, the Mod was installed in March, and the 2001 was planned to be relocated soon after. Well, that got pushed back, so this duo still strides. Though soon, it will be no more. This was quite the experience since these are only like 500 feet apart, but very cool. My camera decided to shut off right before the activation, but I managed to work around that.

While also in talks about this duo, Bryan Eades, who is the emergency manager and the owner of ‪@q2bman‬, offered to give us a tour of the EOC, so that was epic. Videos of that will likely come soon. Special thanks to Bryan for letting us tour the place!

This duo can be found at Duncan Middle School. The 2001 is planned to be relocated sometime soon. These, along with 27 others, are tested every Monday at noon. Though the test may be canceled for significant cloud cover, rain, or severe weather expected in the area for that day.
