Fast transient burst generator NSG 1025 is used in this video inside an office environment to show how to perform EMC testing to EN 61000-4-4 and EN 61000-4-5 standards in DIY settings.
Notably, the 'metronome' sound that you'll hear comes from the conducted emission on the power supply, caused by the absense of isolated mains on the DUT. The noise has been picked up by the audio interface and made its way into the recording. That is not a sound effect :)
This proves a point why this type of testing should only be performed in a controlled manner, as it can easily damage the neighbouring equipment and cause disturbances on the mains grid.
