Описание: Join me in this full, one hour yin yoga practice with the intention of releasing. 'Releasing what?', you may ask... Well, the idea is to "release what no longer serves you," but that feels cliche (even though it's the truth). In essence, it's releasing excess. Excess mental chatter. Excess effort in the body. All the excess "stuff" that has built up over time. We've officially crossed over into the season of autumn, or fall, in the northern hemisphere, which according to TCM is a season of refinement as we embrace the energy of the metal element. The more we're able to release, the better we are setting ourselves up for a deep and full season of rest ahead (i.e. winter).

It's all about the cycles of life. And finding harmony and balance within them because we are not separate from nature, but an integrated part of it.

This practice moves through postures that stimulate the groin (inner thigh), hamstrings, hips, as well as including bending the spine (extending it via a backbend as well as laterally bending it side to side). All good things. Take every pose to your own degree, add props wherever your body is asking for them for extra support or structure, and leave out anything that doesn't feel right. All that's required is awareness, breath, and presence. Let all else go.
