Trust in His Infinite Love | Changed Through Jesus Christ

Описание: Before his mission, Api saw shadows of Laman and Lemuel in his own life. But like Nephi, he found a compass that would point the way to the Lord, and he made the choice to follow it. Api’s compass is The Book of Mormon. It testifies of Jesus Christ and teaches His gospel. Read it, ponder its teachings, pray to Heavenly Father in the name of His Son, and try the commandments of Jesus Christ in your own life.

The first step in the path of Christian discipleship is humility. We must acknowledge that we do not know as much as the Lord knows, we do not see all that He sees, and we never could navigate this difficult life, nor thrive in our endeavors, nor be forgiven of our sins and obtain eternal life, without Him. Realizing this, we can begin trust in His strength, perfection, and infinite love. We can begin to do right and serve Him in joy.

Each day, we can begin on our knees reaffirming our willingness to be humble. We can pick up our liahona, the holy scriptures, and chart a righteous course for the day. We can allow the Lord to reveal snares to avoid, opportunities to take, and blessings to harvest. We can develop the spiritual integrity of Nephi and abandon the temperamental pride cycle that led Laman and his people into the wilderness of their destruction.

Take up your cross and follow Jesus Christ. His yoke is easy and His burden is light! (See Matthew 11:29-30.) Obedience to His commandments is liberty from sin and misery. He stands with open arms to receive you. Come unto Him and find peace. "
