It also affected everyone around him for the better! Repentance and obedience to the gospel of Jesus Christ make our own lives infinitely better and light the strait and narrow path so that others may find it.

You may not feel very impactful in this world, but your fellow travelers here are paying attention. When you change, it changes them. Unrighteous living spreads disappointment and despair. Obedience to the Lord’s commandments shines the joy and hope of Jesus Christ upon everyone you meet. There is nothing more impactful in the world than your decision to choose righteousness.

If you’re looking for a reason strong enough to inspire righteous change in your life, try looking around you and looking up. Someone loves you. Someone is rooting for you. Someone may be looking for their own reason to try, and that could be you. Some may not even know that what they so desperately need is Jesus Christ, and you can show them how to find Him. And many up above—your Father in Heaven, your Savior Jesus Christ, your ancestors, even angels—are aware of you, watching closely, hoping for you, and helping you along.
