Keema Methi
Ingredients:
Oil ¼ Cup
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Cinnamon stick 2
Bay leaves 2
Onion slices 2 medium
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbs
Keema hand chopped ½ kg
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Red chilli Powder 1 tsp or to taste
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp or to taste
Tomatoes slices 3 medium
Methi (Fenugreek leaves) 2 Cup
Water 1 Cup or as required
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Green chilies whole 5-6
Fresh coriander
Directions:
In wok, add oil, cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, bay leaves, onion and fry until light brown.
Add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
Add keema and mix well until color changes and cook for 8-10 minutes or until oil separates.
Add cumin powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, Coriander powder, salt and mix well.
Cover and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes and mix well and cover and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
Add Methi (fenugreek leaves) and mix well.
Add water and mix well, cover and cook on low flame until oil separates for 6-8 minutes.
Add garam masala, green chilies and fresh coriander, cover and simmer for 2 minutes & serve.
