Hyderabadi Dum Ka Keema Recipe
Ingredients:
Minced meat 500 gram
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Yugart 1 Cup
Spices for dry masala powder:
Peanuts 2 tbsp
Almonds 8-10
Cinnamon 2 pc
Black Cardamom 1
Green Cardamom 3
Cloves 3
Black pepper corns ½ tsp
1 TSP CUMIN Cumin 1 tsp
Dried red chillies 4-5
Dessicated coconut 1 tbsp
Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
Oil 4-5 tsbp
Fried Onions 4 tbsp
Mint leaves ½ Cup
Coriander leaves ½ Cup
Green chillies 4-5
Water ½ Cup
Charcoal 1 piece
Ghee 1 tsp
Directions:
In a bowl add minced meat, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and yogurt.
Mix it well and set it aside for marination [ 30 minutes ].
Dry roast the spices for masala powder in a pan on low flame for one minute. Cool & grind them into a powder.
Heat oil in a kadhai, Put the marinated keema in it and cook till water dries.
Now add roasted masala powder, fried Onions, mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies in it and cook for 2 minutes.
Add little water if required. Lower the flame, cover & cook for around 5 mins till it is cooked & oil separates.
Turn the heat off.
Place a small steel bowl on top of the food in the kadhai.
Fire up a small piece of charcoal directly on the gas stove till it starts glowing.
Once the charcoal is ready, hold it with a tong & place it in the steel bowl.
Immediately drop little ghee on the burning charcoal & close the lid immediately.
Cover it for around 5 mins.
Hyderabadi dum ka kheema is ready.
Serve hot with roti, naan or paratha.
