It’s Day 15 of the WALK Off the Weight series for women over 50, and today’s combo of CARDIO and STRENGTH is a CELEBRATION what our bodies can do! We’re strengthening our bodies, increasing our fitness, and working toward our WEIGHT LOSS goal!
We’re getting a lot of work done in a relatively short amount of time and working toward LEAN MUSCLES and a HEALTHY HEART!
While we’re celebrating (and sweating), we’re chatting about the benefits of SLOWING DOWN and I’m revealing the MOST IMPORTANT THING we’re learning as we exercise.
If you want to get a lot of bang for your buck, today’s workout is definitely for you! The fitness light is green, my friends, so let’s go!
SET UP:
Interval timer is set for 20 seconds of cardio and 40 seconds of strength moves; complete the circuit twice; there is NO REST
WARM UP
EXERCISES:
Walking/Marching + High Knee Press Ups
Big Arm Side Shuffles + Side Step Arm Openers
Toy Soldiers + Bent Over Row with a Kickback
Kick Jacks + Curtsy Curls
Disco Dancers + Letter Xs
Push Push Crunch + Cross-Body Crunches
V Reaches + Peek-a-Boo Side Kicks
Rainbow Jacks + Deadlift with Front Raise
FINISHER (one interval on each side):
Walking + Super Slow Sprinters
