When her son was diagnosed with autism, over 10 years ago, Kat struggled to maintain her
family's daily needs on top of learning all that she could to help her son. As a former CPA,
she used her organizational skills and financial knowledge to help her cope with disability-related
paperwork. Along with this, she put systems in place so she could focus on her goals one
day at a time in order to write a best selling book and volunteer as an autism support group
facilitator. She lives with her husband and 3 kids in San Jose, CA.
