Gluteal inhibition as been accepted as a common dysfunction with very little proof that this is something exists, can be measured, is a driver of pain or must be corrected.
The preponderance of evidence would suggest that there is more Glute activity when someone has pain.
However, Glute exercises can still be helpful for performance and recovery.
