Gathiuru Forest Mt.Kenya Tree Planting

Описание: Miti Alliance set out on a big audacious journey to plant 5 Million Trees. This goal we plan to achieve over the next few years and we do this through our Miti Schools and the Adopt A Forest programme.

October 2021, we partnered with Kenya Forest Service (KFS) Gathiuru Forest Mt.Kenya. We requested an allocation of forest land that needed restoration and set out to start with 1Hectare of land where we would plant 1000 trees.

In the future we hope to get an allocation of 20-100Ha by partnering with like minded individuals, entities, corporates, churches, communities and public to collaborate to restore Gathiuru Forest.

We appreciate everyone who donated towards this cause, the amazing partners who believed in us and walked with us to make this activity a reality.
