Frozen Night to the Last Village ZOOD KHUN | Baba Ghundi Ziarat, Glacier Ride & Chipursan Adventure

Описание: After a lonely and freezing night near the Afghanistan border, I woke up to the silent and cold beauty of Baba Ghundi Shrine. The morning was windy, yet magical — with mountains, clouds, and ancient stone walls telling stories of the borderlands.

From there, I began a 75km challenging off-road motorcycle ride deep into the Chipursan Valley. The rough mountain tracks led me to pass a Glacier, Icy Water Crossings, and breathtaking high-altitude views. The ride was quite difficult and tiring, especially in the Yashkuk area. The path was rocky, very desolate, and at one point I even passed through the mouth of a glacier.

On the far end of the valley, I reached the last village "Zood Khun" before the border, where I met warm-hearted locals whose hospitality stood in contrast to the rugged landscape. Especially I met Wakhi poet and traveler Alam Jan Dario. I spoke to him in an interview style and learned a lot from him.

I left Zood Khun village and came across many more villages on the way back to Sost city. In some villages, children were playing and in others, locals were working in the fields. The villages located in the Chipurson Valley are Zood Khun (Zood Khon), Shetmerg, Ispanj, Sher-e-Sabz, Reshit, Kil, Kirmin, Raminj and Yarzirech.

I continued my journey along the bank of the Chapursan River, seeing such scenes and taking pictures of the beautiful views. Along the way, I also took a picture of the Yekhmin Waterfall.

This vlog is not just about the destinations — it’s about the journey, the struggles, and the moments that make remote travel in northern Pakistan unforgettable.
