World's Highest Border Crossing 🇵🇰 Pak-China 🇨🇳 | Wild Animals Area | Khunjerab Pass (KKH) Solo Tour

Описание: The snow leopard area and the world's highest border crossing are in the Khunjerab National Park, Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. The Khunjerab Pass is the border between Pakistan and China.

This was a solo motorcycle tour to the highest border in the world. I went in November because during these days, snow falls on the mountain peaks and wild animals come a little closer to the road. Thus, I got to see many wild animals near the Karakoram Highway, such as ibex and wild yak, etc. But there are also some dangers in this season. For example, black ice freezes on the road. Which makes the car or motorcycle very slippery. That's why I left a little late in the morning so that the black ice melts. First, I saw the autumn colors in Khyber village of Upper Hunza, and then I headed towards the Khunjerab Pass.

I visited several villages on the way and then filled my motorcycle tank from a petrol station in Sost city. There were many dangerous tunnels on the way and then I entered the park by taking a ticket from the check post of Khunjerab National Park. On the way, I got a lot of information about Markhor and especially Snow Leopard. I ride along the Hunza River/Khunjerab River.

When I reached the border, there was snow on the road along with steep climbs. Finally, I reached the border. There, trade goods were going from China to Pakistan and from Pakistan to China. There was snow everywhere on the Khunjerab Pass and it was very cold. The world's highest ATM was also used here. The part of the Karakoram Highway in Pakistan also ends at the Khunjerab border. Thus, we saw the Pakistani Karakoram Highway to the end.

After taking photos and videography at the China border, the return journey began. It was evening by the time I reached Sost. But instead of staying in Sost city, I started a new adventure at night. Thus, I started traveling towards the last village of Pakistan, Misgar, and the last fort of Pakistan on the border, Kalam Darchi. But we will see this adventure in the next episode.
