A solo motorcycle ride to Heaven of Himalayas that is Shangri-La. Then Ride to Upper Kachura Lake and Soq Valley. All these places are near Skardu, Northern Pakistan. The journey showcases the breathtaking scenery of the region and highlights the unique challenges and rewards of traveling solo.
At the beginning of the journey, when the Mughal Princess Canal was seen in Skardu city, I told the story of King Ali Sher Khan Anchan of Kharphocho fort, Skardu. In this story, I told how Ali Sher pardoned the punishment of his beloved wife.
After that, I mentioned James Hilton’s novel "Lost Horizon" and told about the paradise in the world, namely Shang-ri-La (Shangrila). I told that like the novel Lost Horizon, in 1953, a plane of Skardu flight also made an emergency landing on the bed of the Indus River near Skardu. And then a lake and a resort(hotel) were built near this plane and it was named the paradise in the novel, namely Shangrila.
After seeing Shangrila, I went to Upper Kachura Lake. The lake was very beautiful. I met some foreign tourists there. After that, I went to Soq Valley.
