1 Large vs Wide (Use in correct English)
Large
Large = size / quantity / degree (आकार, मात्रा, स्तर)
यह किसी चीज़ के कुल आकार या मात्रा की बात करता है, न कि फैलाव की।
Use with: amount, number, area, population, business, heart, sum, extent
Examples:
He has a large house.
(उसका घर बड़ा है — कुल आकार की बात)
A large number of students were absent.
(बहुत बड़ी संख्या)
She has a large heart.
(भावनात्मक रूप से बड़ा)
(x) A large road (गलत / अप्राकृतिक)
✔ A wide road (सही)
Wide
Wide = width / spread (चौड़ाई / फैलाव)
जब किसी चीज़ की चौड़ाई या दायरे की बात हो।
Use with: road, river, gap, smile, difference, choice, eyes
Examples:
This is a wide road.
(यह सड़क चौड़ी है)
The river is very wide.
She gave a wide smile.
There is a wide difference between theory and practice.
Rule याद रखें:
Large → कितना बड़ा (overall size)
Wide → कितना चौड़ा / फैला हुआ
2 “a bit” as an Adverb
a bit = थोड़ा सा
यह degree adverb है और adjective या adverb को modify करता है।
Structure:
a bit + adjective / adverb
Examples:
I am a bit tired.
(मैं थोड़ा थका हुआ हूँ)
She is a bit nervous.
Speak a bit slowly.
(x) a bitly (गलत)
✔ a bit (सही)
Note:
a bit informal English में बहुत common है
Formal में → slightly / somewhat
3Both / Both of – सही प्रयोग
Both
जब noun सीधे साथ में आए।
Structure:
both + plural noun
Examples:
Both students are present.
Both answers are correct.
Both roads lead to the city.
Both of
जब noun के साथ the / my / these / us / them आदि हों।
Structure:
both of + determiner/pronoun
Examples:
Both of the students are present.
Both of my brothers live abroad.
Both of them are honest.
Both of these books are useful.

4 “I bet you …” का प्रयोग (Correct English)
Meaning:
I bet you… = मुझे पूरा यक़ीन है / मैं शर्त लगा सकता हूँ
यह strong confidence / prediction दिखाने के लिए बोला जाता है।
Structure:
I bet + subject + verb
Examples:
I bet you are tired.
मुझे यक़ीन है तुम थके हो)
I bet he will win the match.
I bet they don’t know the truth.
Informal short form:
Bet you didn’t know that!
I bet she’s lying.
Note:
ज़्यादातर spoken / informal English में प्रयोग
Formal writing में कम इस्तेमाल होता है
