Recipe of Navratri Special Makhana Chilla and Haryali Paneer.
This Navratri try healthy and delicious makhana recipe. You can make this in just a few minutes. Falahari chliia is made with soaked samak rice and makhana. Grind them along with green chillies, coriander leaves, peanuts and ginger. And make tasty dosa or chilla for your vrat.
Fasting is an effective way to boost our metabolism and immunity. Eating light food, fresh fruits and lots of fluids helps to detoxify our digestive system. There is a strong scientific logic behind these fasts, when season changes our immunity seems to be very low. So, the process of fasting for nine days helps to detox our body & mind and strengthen our immunity to fight better with various seasonal problems.
So, during navratri try to eat healthy and make this tasty falahari chilla.
Ingredients:
For Chilla:
1/2 cup samak rice/barnyard millet
1 cup makhana/fox nut
1/4 cup raw peanuts
1/2 cup coriander leaves
1 inch ginger piece
1 green chilli
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp. desiccated coconut
salt to taste
ghee or oil to make chilla
For Haryali paneer
200g paneer
1/2 cup coriander leaves
1 tsp desi ghee
1 piece of ginger
1 green chili
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
salt to taste
For Chutney
2 tomatoes
7-8 pitted dates
1 tsp desi ghee
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp degi mirch powder
salt to taste
