Here's a third lesson on "creative repetition". Practicing using repetition on various parts of a lick can be a great way to improve your ability to play new things based on what you just played.
This lesson is based on a chapter from my book "Improvising with motives".
The book has a whole chapter on using repetition as a motivic development technique, using various motives in blues, pop, rock, funk, and jazz styles.
