Learning how to Double Under is a challenge - but here is the thing, if you can jump 5cm high & spin your wrists at the same time, you can do them too.
When I started with Double Under I really struggled for the first weeks. Honestly I had no plan & did them only very occasionally. But, once I started to do them consistently with an easy progression, it made click.
So here is what I did to unlock my Double Under:
4-Week Double Under Progression Plan
✅ 2-3 Sessions per Week
✅ 10 Minutes per Session
✅ Goal: Slightly increase reps from week to week
Workout Structure:
10 Sets
20s ON : 40s OFF
Complete X Double Unders
Session 1: Start with X = 5 Double Unders
➡ If you complete 5 reps within the 20s, rest for the remaining time.
➡ If you can’t hit 5 reps, rest for the remaining time.
Progression Rules:
✔ If you successfully hit X reps in all 10 sets, increase reps next session.
❌ If you fail to hit X reps in all 10 sets, repeat the same session next time.
Increasing Difficulty:
➡ Once you reach 10 sets of 20s unbroken, progress to:
✔ 25s ON : 35s OFF
✔ 30s ON : 30s OFF
➡ Continue progressing until you can complete 10 sets of 30s unbroken.
