Описание: We join Dutch barge "Bolle Beer", operated by Sovereign Cruises, just above Town Bridge in Northwich for a cruise down the River Weaver in June 1995. Our destination is Marsh Lock at Runcorn where the River Weaver navigation joins the Manchester Ship Canal. After passing under Northwich Town Bridge we see the unrestored Anderton boat lift before entering Saltersford Locks. Most of the industrial buildings we see along ths stretch of the river have since been swept away for housing development. After Saltersford we pass under Acton Bridge and through Dutton Locks. Immediately afterwards we see Dutton railway viaduct and a short while later we pass under the A56 road bridge. "Bolle Beer" turns adjacent to Marsh Lock and the chemical sites at Runcorn for a short break, after which we retrace our steps to Northwich where the cruise ends.
