MENTAL HEALTH LABS 1: WHO AM I REALLY? with Dr. Kim Sage, Licensed Psychologist
MODULE 1: ATTACHMENT THEORY VOCABULARY TERMS (Part of CHILDHOOD ATTACHMENT MODULE).
Mental Health Labs are psychology and therapy-based self-help and mental health informed workshops, and online learning modules, to help you understand yourself, your life and your relationships, through education and self led experiences, in order to foster insight, tools, knowledge and healing.
The first Mental Health Lab is called “Who Am I Really?” and will include 6 modules:
[ ] 1: Childhood Attachment
[ ] 2: Mission Statements and Labels
[ ] 3: Making Sense of My Stories and Editing
[ ] 4: Adult Attachment and Relationships
[ ] 5: Mental Health and My Story
[ ] 6: Living In My Truth, Practicing Healing.
In this episode, I begin with providing the vocabulary and terms found in Attachment Theory, which we will use in the second episode, to begin to identify and explore our Childhood Attachment Strategies, and the types of mothering (or primary caregiving) which we experienced, which impacts our development of self, how we see ourselves in relationships, the impacts and risks to our mental health, and what we can do to know, heal and love ourselves more.
