Atma Suktam or Atma Raksha Mantram is a hymn found in Mahanyasam, a ritualistic prayer to Rudra. This Suktam essentially helps oneself to focus on the divine meditative light that traverses the five organs of perception and five organs of action, followed by the Seven energy centers in the body called Chakras, followed by one mind and five life forces, followed by five sheaths and then the diving light merges into three times namely past, present and future and finally into Brahman or the absolute consciousness.
