You can cycle from Brixton in south London to Catford in South East London in about 30 minutes, mostly on quiet streets and traffic-free paths.
The route is a little over six miles long and makes use of the Railton and Dulwich low traffic neighbourhoods, Peckham Rye Park, and a bit of the old London Cycle Network route 22.
The half an hour journey time is significantly faster door-to-door than taking public transport.
