Cycling to work in the rush hour is getting easier thanks to more and more protected cycle lanes popping up. The C4 cycle route from Deptford to London Bridge is one such example that has contributed to London's cycling boom. Large parts of the route separate riders from the road, making it safer and easier to cycle into town.
On this journey, we discuss topics like route planning, the need to look out for pedestrians and other riders, and the importance of staying alert when passing the many side roads along the route that cross the cycle lane.
I hope this film helps you reflect on how you cycle! PLEASE SHARE the film with anyone you know who is thinking about cycling to work for the first time!
