Описание: The Transfer Trail is a 14 mile one way trail that snakes its way up the mountainside out of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, up to the Flat Tops region at almost 11,000 feet. The trail is well known for epic views, forests, vast mountain plateau meadows, rock formations that look like ancient fortresses, and scattered lakes of all shapes and sizes. You will also find plentiful dispersed camping in this area. Today, we take the Transfer Trail up and over a small chunk of the Flat Tops and down Coffee Pot Road. As much as we would love to say every day on the trail is perfect and sunny, the rain definitely stormed in and out of our adventure throughout the day and night. But even so, this was an awesome drive through a unique Colorado landscape blessed with the stillness and peace you can often only find in isolated places.
