In this video I’m creating a puddle pour fantasy swipe with gold as the base color, yes, LOTS of gold! And as if that wasn’t shiny enough, I also added gold spray paint for extra sparkle.
This is something I’ve never done before, but I absolutely love how it turned out.

The canvas size is 50x50 cm, and the result is bold, bright and full of beautiful cells and lacing.

At the end of the video, I’ll also show you how I create a skin from the leftover paints from my table. I often save these skins to make jewelry, keychains, pendants or earrings. It’s such a special extra when someone orders a commission, you can even get a matching handmade piece of jewelry from the same painting!

🎨 Colors used:
Deep Gold/Bronze mix by Amsterdam
Oxide Black by Amsterdam
Titanium White by Amsterdam
Venetian Rose by Amsterdam
Quinacridone Rose by Amsterdam

Paint recipe:
All paints are mixed with Owatrol Floetrol, a paint conditioner that improves flow and leveling, helping the paint spread smoothly.

Paint mixture:
1 part acrylic paint
2 parts Floetrol
2 parts water

Cell Activator:
Oxide Black or Titanium White from Amsterdam
1 part paint
3 parts Australian Floetrol

By using two different types of Floetrol, you get that beautiful lacing effect (also called cells or bubble effect). There are many different recipes online, but this is the one I personally use and trust.
