📝 Ingredients
• Cracked wheat (Gareesh) – 1 cup (200 g)
• Onion, chopped – 1 large (200 g )
• Mutton or beef, small pieces – 500 g
• Garlic, minced – 1 tbsp (20 g)
• Bay leaves – 2
• Cumin – ½ tbsp
• Coriander powder – ½ tbsp
• Black pepper – 1 tsp
• Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
• Tomato paste – 2 tbsp (20 g)
• Tomatoes, diced – 3 (400 g). . Maggi stock 1 piece
• Hot water – 8 cups (~2 liters)
• Salt – ½ tbsp or to taste
• Fresh coriander – for garnish
• Vegetable oil or ghee – 4 tbsp

👩‍🍳 Instructions
1. Soak the cracked wheat in hot water for 2 hours and set aside.
2. Turn on your Instant Pot (Sauté mode) and heat oil or ghee.
3. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft and translucent.
4. Add mutton or beef pieces and sear until the color changes.
5. Stir in garlic and bay leaves; sauté until aromatic.
6. Add cumin, coriander, black pepper, turmeric, and tomato paste. Mix well.
7. Blend the tomatoes and add to the pot. Cook for a few minutes until combined.
8. Add soaked cracked wheat and salt. Mix everything together.
9. Pour in 8 cups hot water, cover, and pressure cook for 50 minutes.
10. Carefully release pressure, garnish with fresh coriander, and serve hot.
