Welcome to the Chicago ride series! The CTA "L" system is the most famous elevated railway system in the world, comprising of eight colored lines: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Brown, and Pink.
The Orange Line is the newest line in the system constructed from scratch, opening in 1993. It serves as a major corridor between the Loop in Downtown Chicago and Midway International Airport. It is one of the four main lines that runs all the way around the Loop.
