Please keep in mind that in the first half of the video, the train went very slow because of track/signal work being done at the time.
Welcome to the Chicago ride series! The CTA "L" system is the most famous elevated railway system in the world, comprising of eight colored lines: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Brown, and Pink.
The Green Line is a major corridor connecting the city of Oak Park, the west side, Downtown, and the south side of Chicago. The line runs on the Lake Street Elevated, the Lake and Wabash side of the Loop, and the South Side Elevated. Beyond Garfield Station, the line has two branches: one that goes to Ashland/63rd, and one that goes to Cottage Grove (in this video). The Green Line serves destinations such as the Garfield Park Conservatory, the United Center, McCormick Place, and the Illinois Institute of Technology.
