Recipe is below:
CHINESE STEAMED PORK PATTY
1 lb. pork butt (or ground pork)
6 Chinese Mushrooms (soak 2 hours)
1 Chinese sausage
2 tbsp. Chinese Radish (preserved mustard greens)
3 chopped water chestnuts
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. chicken soup base
1/2 tsp. sesame oil
1/2 tsp. oyster flavored sauce
1/2 tsp. cornstarch
Soak Chinese mushrooms for 2 or more hours, depending on the type. Cut Chinese sausage into small pieces. If you can't find preserved Chinese mustard greens, just omit. Peel off skin of Chinese water chestnuts but omit if you can't find any. Combine all the ingredients with the pork. Add salt, chicken soup base, sesame oil, oyster flavored sauce and cornstarch. Chop the pork with the ingredients to reach consistency that you like.
If you are using already ground pork, you can cut up all the ingredients separately and just mix in with the pork. Add or omit ingredients to suit your own taste.
Bring some water in a pan to a boil. Put dish of pork patty in the pan. Cover with a lid and steam for 30 to 60 minutes. Check with a fork to see if pork is cooked all the way through. Serve this dish with rice, so you can put the juices on the rice. Enjoy!
