In this video, I'm showing you how to calculate Google Ads profitability and know if you’re actually making money with Ecommerce.

What is Profitability?
I personally see profitability as the amount of money I have in my bank account at the end of the month, after all the expenses I have in my Ecommerce store. We know exactly what our store's expenses are and the amount we spend on our marketing. Therefore, calculating your profitability is not that difficult.

For example, if you make $100 in revenue per customer and your profit margin is 30%, you can spend up to $30 per new customer and you will still be PROFITABLE. If you can accurately calculate your profit margin and you don't exceed the $30 cost per conversion, then you will always make a PROFIT.

Why should you use profitability?
Because it's just how Ecommerce business works -- businesses are built to make a profit. If you're not making any profit, then your business will not really last for long.

If your are doing your marketing, you have to make sure you spend money on what’s working the most. Cash is a limited resource so it's crucial to spend your marketing dollars on the most effective things first.

Now, how do you use this information to create a PROFITABLE Google AdWords Campaign?
1. You can make sure that your Google Ads account never spends more than $30 per conversion.
2. You can focus your budget and efforts on what's really working for your store, and do less on aspects that are making your lose profit.
3. If you keep doing this, then you will keep improving your account and make more profits.
