AdWords Brand Campaign - What is it?
Google Ads brand campaigns are campaigns that show up in Google Search when someone searches for your brand. For example, when someone searches for "Key Commerce," my ads are going to show up and direct users to our homepage.

Now, you might ask why you should create brand awareness campaigns when you're already ranked number 1 for your brand name in the organic listings, which are free?

There are a few reasons why you should start running your brand campaigns in Google Ads but the biggest one is YOUR COMPETITORS. Online sellers who have ran a competitor campaign would understand this. This is a Google Ad campaign where you bid on your competitors brand name and you get their customers over to your store to convert.

And you don't want this to happen to you, right? You don't want a competitor using your brand name in AdWords and go steal your customers. But then you can always do what your competitors do and MORE.

Actually, there's nothing spectacular about brand bidding, but we can use this to breakeven or make a bit of profit. The reason they work is because even though that a customer is looking for you, and they’re really ready to buy your products, your competitor can still get them over to their site and then steal the sale.

Maybe their website was appealing or even the customer just got distracted and bought from them instead. The point is your competitors could come in and bid on your brand name and then steal some of your customers.

You can avoid this if you bid on your own brand name and creating compelling ad copies. By creating Google Ads brand campaigns, you’ll most likely show up in position 1 and make sure that you DO get that click and keep those customers.
