Ingredients:
5 eggs
100g of butter
100g of white bread
200g of quark
3 tablespoons of icing sugar
1 orange
1 lemon
Rum
2 tablespoons of honey
150g of poppy seeds
1/16L milk
Cinnamon
2 pears
2 tablespoons of crystal sugar
1/8l of apple juice
Elderberry flowers juice
00:00 In a salad bowl, break 5 eggs (3 whole eggs and 2 egg yolks). Remove the butter from the fridge so it will be on room temperature. Remove the bread crumbs, cut it and add it to the mix. Mix the butter and the icing sugar. Grate an orange and a lemon. Add the zests to the eggs and the bread crumbs. Add rum and Mix well.
03:15 Add the butter and the icing sugar and mix. Add some salt and the quark. In a pan, heat the poppy seeds and honey. Add milk and cinnamon. Remove from heat and pour on a dish. On another dish, pour olive oil. Humidify your hands and form balls with the mix of bread crumbs and quark. Put them on the dish with olive oil.
06:23 Form small balls with the mix of poppy seeds and honey. Stuff the knödel and with the poppy seeds mix. Cut the orange and the lemon in quarters and put them in boiling water. Place carefully the knödel in the boiling water. Cut the pears into slices. Heat the rest of poppy seeds and caramelize it with crystal sugar.
09:16 In a pan, heat apple juice. Add elderberry flowers juice and the slices of pears. Pour honey on the pears and remove them from heat. Remove the poppy seeds knödel from water and serve with the pears.
