What Vietnam Taught Me About True Health

Описание: For most of my adult life, I have been deeply passionate about understanding Health & Wellness, learning, and trying different practices, evaluating results, and noticing how I felt. Back in the States, I had the "ideal" setup: the infrared sauna, the red light therapy, the grounding mats, and a carefully curated ritual of supplements. I was active, I stayed fit, and I was doing the work. But it was work. It required an fair amount of time, effort, and tools to maintain the vitality I desired. It took up my brain power, time, and money...but I understood it to be invaluable. I also realized I was doing many things because I had 'learned' they were healthy, but to be honest, I hadn't really noticed a difference. But I trusted the sources and that I was supporting my system whether i could feel it or not.

When I moved to Vietnam, I worried about how I would maintain my health without my "gear." What I discovered instead was a profound realization: True health doesn't have to be a project. It can be refreshingly effortless.

In today’s video, I’m sharing a personal turning point—a moment where my "healthy" habits actually collided with the beautiful simplicity of life here in Asia. We’re going to look at the contrast between the American "wellness industry" and the effortless, built-in health of the Vietnamese people—who stay mobile, vibrant, and connected well into their later years without a single green juice cleanse or gym membership.

After my first few months of living here, I found myself unexpectedly losing weight just by living life. I was eating what I wanted locally when I was hungry, going on walks, and spending time at the beach. The other travelers I met said the same thing. We thought, what IS it? No effort, no gyms, no green juice resets—just eating local healthy foods, fresh coconuts, and moving around in society like the locals do. We all felt great.
