Don’t let the visa process be a source of stress or a hassle! One of the best things about traveling to Vietnam in 2026 is that you have plenty of great options. In this video, I’m breaking them all down so you can choose the path that is the best fit for your travel style.
Whether you’re looking for the absolute budget-friendly path, the ease of having an agent handle the paperwork for total peace of mind, or you want to use a "visa run" as an excuse for a fun mini-exploration, there is an option here for everyone.
If you’re a DIY traveler, pay close attention to the critical "gotchas" I’ve included—like the middle name trick and date formats—to ensure your entry into this beautiful country is as smooth and cheerful as your vacation plans.
Correction: In the video I spoke about checking your Social Security Number, that is a mistake on my part, I meant to say PASSPORT number. 😅
The current Visa agent I use: I have used a few and they have all been great - no complaints. I currently have been using Stella Visa and her work has been impeccable. You can find her by searching for that exact name in FaceBook. Tell her I sent you!
IF you apply for your Visa online yourself, please double-check that you are using the actual government website. There are many impostors that look legitimate - some are agencies who up-charge, and other sites collect money but do not deliver a Visa. I won't post the link here as it has changed in the past, but please do your research to make SURE you have the correct government site.
Happy Travels!
