Montreal: Highway cops clear cars with PA at fireworks 7-23-2016

Last night, SQ (Surete du Quebec) along with SPAL (Service de Police de l'Aglomeration de Longueuil) police officers managed traffic during the 32nd edition of the fireworks show "L'international des Feux Loto-Quebec'' in Montreal, Canada. Police cruisers were spotted along Highway 132 blocking entrances and exits in Longueuil while others were busy closing Jacques Cartier Bridge during the popular annual fireworks display. Police officers taking place in highway patrol cars pushed away motorists who illegally stopped on the highway shoulder to watch the impressive lights and sound display. Cops used PA systems placed in cruisers to order drivers to move their cars and get back on the highway to resume normal traffic flow. Police cars formed a patrol on the highway to reduce the speed of cars for safety and to prevent traffic jams. A large crowd gathered on the bridge as well as along the sides of the highway to admire the fireworks.
