The Warrior Diet, or 20:4 intermittent fasting, is a 20-hour undereating and 4-hour overeating phase. Let’s start with the undereating phase. This phase is based on the principle of controlled 20-hour fasting. Keep in mind that undereating does not mean starvation. Here you control your hunger by consuming specific food every few hours.
Your undereating phase starts when you wake up and ends in the evening. since it’s an undereating phase, you can also consume some specific foods. It’s entirely up to you how you’ll divide them throughout the day. The most important rule here: to minimize your food intake to small servings.
Now, what you need to know is that the overeating principles are based on 3 rules of eating:
Rule#1: Always start with subtle-tasting foods.
Rule #2: Include as many flavors, textures, colors, and aromas as possible in your main meal.
Rule #3: Stop eating when you feel much more thirsty than hungry.
