Sometimes what we need in our yoga practice is silence.
I will guide you though a beautiful Yin Yoga practice with minimal cues, guiding you into and out of the postures but I will keep the space in between free of chatter
Yin yoga is an amazingly effective way to deeply relax the body, release tension from the muscles and calm the nervous system!
Yin Yoga practice is for many an opportunity to come down from the busyness and stimulation of everyday life.
Its important that we have time away from stimulus and this particular class will offer even more space and silence to allow that to happen.
In this yin class we have time together to explore relaxing fully into long held yin postures.
The longer we are in the pose and the more we let go the more we release. This is not only great for flexibility but also aids us in releasing long held deep layers of tension and resistance.
🧘♀️ Your body learns deep relaxation just like any other skill so practice regularly🧘♀️
As always you can do this yin yoga class with props but no props are needed so you can make do with a cushion or two and a blanket
If you are brand new to yin yoga and meditation practice this may not be the class to start with as the minimal cues makes it more advanced.
