Nasi Mawut Indomie Goreng Recipe

Ingredients:
1 small bowl of cooked rice
1 packet of Indomie instant noodle, pre-cooked, 2 minutes
1 -2 eggs
Fresh prawns, shelled and deveined
150gm Chye sim
80gm cabbage
Spring onions (scallions)
Fried shallots
Either pound in a mortar-pestle or use a grinder w/o water:
2 fresh red chillies
4 cili padi
1 clove of garlic
3 cherry tomatoes
6 shallots
½-¾ tsp shrimp paste powder (belachan)
(just toast 1 ½ inch of belachan piece and crush it into powder)
1 tsp dark sweet soy sauce
White pepper powder
1 tsp of any seasoning powder (chicken, anchovy, vegetable)
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking
Water for sprinkling
Method:
Egg either soft scrambled/fried sunny side up and set aside or cook together with the dish.
Add some oil, saute the grinded chilli paste until fragrant and no more raw smell, over medium low flame.
Then, add in the prawns, cabbage, chye sim, sprinkle some water and a pinch of salt. Stir fry for about 3-4 minutes.
Then, add in the rice, mix and the pre-cooked noodle and combine well with the ingredients.
Now, add in the seasoning powder and dark sweet soy sauce. Keep stirring and finally a dash of the white pepper powder and the scrambled egg. Check for seasoning and it’s done!
Garnish with fresh spring onions and fried shallots.
