Hey guys. Just out on a job and I want to show you this gas pipe we just located. It's nothing out of the ordinary. Just want to show you why you should never assume where a gas pipe goes. Come have a look.

So we're out on a job. Yellow is gas. Yellow is what we've located. So the yellow gas comes
up up here over here turns and goes over to the gas meter over there. So when you look at that, no big deal what you'd expect. But before you located it where the gas pipe is, where the gas meter is there you would have suspected it would have gone straight out that way there. So there guys have gone and put their pegs in the ground here. Lucky they haven't gone too deep. Lucky they've gone in there and not over here. If they went over a bit more
they might have hit that gas pipe. I suspect when they put that there they would have assumed the gas pipe went straight down that way there. Otherwise they would have put those hard up on the side over there. So, yeah, I guess I just wanted to show you why you should never assume where anything is.

We're in Geelong today. Gas guys come out for free. So if you called the gas company they'll come out for free and locate this gas pipe for you. So, we've come out and locate we're locating everything else so that's why we're locating the gas today. But before they put this peg in they should have really called the gas guys.
