I had a question come through from that video, which was something like, seeing you have already hooked on to the gas pipe trace wire to initially locate it, before the signal stops where it breaks. Why can't you just go back to the transmitter at the meter and change the frequency to 200 kHz, rather than disconnecting the transmitter, carrying it over to where it is broken and then locating it again.
Well, normally I would simply reply to every question I get, but this is a great question that I felt was best to explain in a video, so here is the answer to that question on why you have to use spillage mode, also known as drop box method also known as inductions, rather than direct connect, for this to work.
