The Govt promised me 6 months ago to end 'Gay Tax' for LGBTQ+ couples looking to start a family.
They have not.
There are huge financial barriers in place for same-sex couples & a postcode lottery for services.
At #PMQ’s today I asked Deputy PM to commit to ending the gay tax - he did not.
It’s Lesbian Visibility week and as well as honoring my good friend Linda Riley - this question made clear this Govt are letting down our LGBTQIA community - Oliver Dowden responded they have done an excellent job for our community and gave us equal marriage!
Not sure anyone I speak to thinks they have done an “excellent job”
