(Refurbished!) Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1000T Siren Test | Alert + Modulator Ambiance | Moore, OK

At 12:00:08, the City of Moore conducted a weekly test of their outdoor warning siren system on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026. This test consisted of a 3 minute alert.

So, after seeing this was refurbished last weekend, I was going to try and do this immediately, but I didn't have the time to turn around and get to it, so I did what I did last week. But now, I had the chance to, so I recorded this. And let me tell you, this thing was so much louder than what it was before. I would even venture to say this is the loudest siren I've ever heard. But this was absolutely amazing to experience, and it looks fresh too.

After the siren wound down, 3 Modulators from Tinker Air Force Base were heard in the distance as seen in the video. When we heard Modulators going off still, we thought it was one of Moore's acting up, but after narrowing it down, we found out it was Tinker. Very surprising since the closest one was 5.5 miles away.

This siren can be found on 1506 Flicker Ridge, behind the Crest Foods. This, along with 43 other sirens, are tested every Saturday at noon. The test may be canceled for rain in the area or severe weather expected for that day.
