What do dispensationalists get wrong about the RETURN of Christ, the 1000 years, and Israel? In this fiery teaching, Sam Shamoun exposes a major end-times mistake: many Christians read Ezekiel (37–39) as if it happens before Jesus returns, but Revelation 19–20 places Gog and Magog after the thousand-year reign—after Satan is released.
Sam walks through Revelation 19 (the White Horse, the Beast, the False Prophet thrown alive into the lake of fire) and then Revelation 20 to prove that Gog and Magog rise up only after the millennium is finished. He challenges Zionist/dispensational timelines that claim two separate Gog and Magog attacks—one before Christ’s coming and one after—showing that the New Testament never teaches this.
He then explains why the Old Testament prophetic paradigm changed when Israel rejected Christ: earthly Jerusalem becomes heavenly Jerusalem, earthly Zion becomes heavenly Zion, and “Israel” must be understood through the Messiah and His spiritual seed. Sam also stresses that many prophecies are conditional (Jeremiah 18), and even rabbinic Judaism admits conditional prophecy.
Finally, he shows the fatal problem with a rigid literal reading of Ezekiel: if Ezekiel 37–39 must unfold exactly as written, then Ezekiel 40–48 must also follow—meaning a restored temple, restored Levitical priesthood, and bloody animal sacrifices for forgiveness of sins. Sam warns that this contradicts Hebrews 7–8, which says Christ made the old sacrificial system obsolete, and he calls Christians to stop forcing Ezekiel into the New Testament and to follow the New Testament interpretation of the Old.
