The biggest flaw with the Nautilus Multi Exercise Machine is that it's so versatile a machine that most people have absolutely no idea what to do with it.
The easiest way to look at it is by thinking of it as the OPPOSITE of an Assisted Dip and Pullup. Instead of reducing the weight of the user, this machine INCREASES the weight of the user...meaning that a 225 pound athlete using 30 pounds on the machine now weighs 255 pounds.
But this piece can be used over and over for different purposes depending on your setup. Reverse wrist curls, wrist curls, reverse curls, hammer curls, standing curls, upright rows, pull ups, dips, bent rows, front raises, lateral raises, calf raises...even the first belt squats were done on this machine along with many other options, depending on how you adjust chains and attachments.
The weight stack on this piece is 200 pounds, which is plenty for most athletes that are using it to add to their own bodyweight. It's definitely been a sleeper piece here, but it's worth a try...especially if you like weighted dips and pull ups.
