MY STORY: I once lived in the fast lane of life, married for 26 years, with two children. Ten years ago, I suddenly lost my wife to cancer. Suffering from depression, one morning I woke up in hospital, after attempting to take my own life. From that moment, and escaping the rat race, finding peace and tranquility on the canal, living on my canal boat, I've managed to turn my life around, get back on my feet, and now live life in the slow lane. In all the peace and stillness that I experience now, my happiness, self confidence and love has returned. As I'm inspired by nature myself, my purpose in life is to inspire others, by sharing my wonderful experiences. However dark life can get, light can always be found. Dave
