SOMETHING WONDERFUL - inspired by nature - Off-grid Narrowboat Life vlog - episode 112

Описание: On this episode, I moor up along a remote stretch of the canal to welcome the new year in on my own. I enjoy the beautiful winter wonderland that surround's me. As always, there are jobs to be done too. A bit of gardening and cleaning the boat and putting up a bird feeder to help the birds get through the cold winter months. I'm low on water for washing, showering due to my home being frozen in on the canal, so I just take the dirty water from the canal, and using my filtration system the water is nice and clean to use. My old Kayak is replaced with a brand new one, and tested out on the water for the first time. There's been many storms in the last months and I go and take a look at the devastation its caused in the woodland next to my floating home. And I have something wonderful to tell you! I'm appearing on a tv programme. Explorer, adventurer and television presenter Ben Fogel recently stayed on my boat for a week to find out what life is like as an off grid continuous cruiser living on the canal. You can tune into the New series which starts at 9pm on the 15th January on Channel 5 (TONIGHT).

In all the peace and stillness that I experience now, my happiness, self confidence and love has returned. As I'm inspired by nature myself, my purpose in life is to inspire others, by sharing my wonderful experiences. Dave
