It's always dessert time! This Italian cooked cream custard is light and you can playaround with your preferred flavours. In our panna cotta recipe we layer the cream custard with raspberry compote.
Recipe: Panna Cotta topped with Raspberry compote.
Ingredients:
240 ml milk
240 ml cream
90 g granulated Sugar
7 g Gelatine (softened)
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
Method:
Heat the milk and sugar to 180°f (82°C).
Remove the pan from the heat, then add the gelatin. Stir until the gelatin dissolves.
When the mixture cools to 120°f (50°C), slowly whisk in the heavy cream and vanilla extract.
pour into ramekins or glasses, filling to just below the rim. Cover and
refrigerate until completely set, approximately 8 hours.
Layer the prepared compote
